Aimee has been showcasing her creations since 2002, when she began making her own jewelry to wear in her role as a TV news anchor (Locally, you might have seen her anchoring KUSI's Good Morning San Diego). Versatile and eclectic, she is a trendsetter in jewelry design, and has customers in almost every country. She is now focusing on her hat designs as well, and is showing them at New York Fashion Week this February. Aimee is currently working with Above Time Marketing/PR to discover emerging designers who also want to show their work at NYFW.
She has been invited to debut her creations at Milan, Paris and London Fashion Weeks next fall. Her work has been featured in a number of national and regional publications & media.
Aimee has been named as one of Fashion Forward's Ten Best Dressed honorees for 2017, celebrating her philanthropy and community involvement. She has been a chairperson and on the board of directors for a number of charities around the United States, most recently acting fashion chair/emcee for the ATLANTIS fashion show & luncheon benefiting the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County. She's also supported and worked with Actors & Others for Animals, The Wounded Warrior Project, The Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, The Doris A. Howell Foundation, Soroptimist International, Jeans for Justice, Country Friends, The Del Mar Auxiliary of Rady Children's Hospital, Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Children, Helen Woodward Animal Center, Habitat for Humanity, and various Weimaraner rescue groups to name a few.
